Clicgear Golf Push Cart Frequently Asked Questions
Brake Questions
1). My brake no longer works when I pull the brake lever. What do I do?
Please check for the following problems:
Cable Nut Assembly has come loose from the Brake Hammer.
If this happens, all you have to do is re-insert the cable nut assembly back into the brake hammer and your brake will function as it should.
Brake Cable has broken.
If the cable is broken or frayed, it can be replaced. See the parts section of our website to order or give us a call. (www.clicgearusa.com) or (888)-742-2542.
Brake Cable tension needs to be adjusted.
To do this, you will need to loosen the cable nut assembly and slide it up/down the brake cable depending on whether or not you want to increase or decrease the tension. If this does not help, you may need to replace the brake cable. If you have questions on how to complete this procedure, please give us a call at (888)-742-2542.
Brake Gear teeth are broken.
If your brake gear is broken, it can be replaced very easily. See the parts section of our website to order or give us a call. (www.clicgearusa.com) or (888)-742-2542.

2.) Do I need to lubricate or oil my brake cable?
No you do not. It is already lubricated at the factory prior to being installed.
Handle/Console Questions
1). The foam grip on my handle is torn. How do I replace it?
We offer replacement foam on our website in the parts section. Replacement instructions are included. (www.clicgearusa.com).
2). The lid on my Console no longer locks, what do I do?
Check to see if the magnets are still attached to the console lid. If they are missing or have lost their polarity, please give us a call at (888)-742-2542 and we can replace them. If they are attached, check to see if the lid is bent. If this is the case, contact Clicgear for instructions.
3). Can I replace the bungee cord for my Scorecard and Pencil Holder?
We offer a replacement bungee on our website in the parts section. (www.clicgearusa.com).
4). Is the Model 3.0 Console adaptable to the Model 1.0 or 2.0 carts?
No it is not. Due to the way the consoles are mounted to the handlebar of the carts, the consoles for each model are not interchangeable. Also, the brake lever has been moved on the 3.0 cart, which makes the 3.0 console different than the 1.0 and 2.0 consoles.
5). Is the Model 3.0 Storage Net adaptable to the Model 1.0 and 2.0 carts?
No it is not because it attaches to the console and the consoles are not interchangeable.
6). I like the Beverage Holder on the Model 3.0. Can I get one for my 1.0 or 2.0 cart?
Yes you can. The 3.0 Cup Holder is available as an after market accessory for the 1.0 and 2.0 carts. In fact, it will fit any pushcart that has 1” diameter tubing on the handlebar.
7). The Model 3.0 cart has accessory mounts on the handle. How do I get those?
Every accessory that we sell that is designed to hang from the handle comes with an accessory mount. (i.e. Cooler Tube, Rangefinder Bag, Sand Bottle, Cup Holder).
Bag Supports/Straps Questions
1). My Bag Straps are frayed or broken, can I replace them?
We offer replacement straps in the parts section of our website (www.clicgearusa.com).
2). My golf bag rubs on the front wheel, how can I fix that?
When this happens, most likely the nut that sits on the bolt of the Main Hinge Lever has come loose which creates some sag in the center of the cart. To fix the problem, simply tighten the nut and the sag will go away. Be careful not to over tighten the nut because that will make opening/closing the Main Hinge Lever more difficult.
In some rare instances, you may have a bag that does not fit properly on the Clicgear Cart due to the shape of the bottom of the bag. If this is the case, you need to either use a different bag or put something between the bag rest and the bottom of the bag.
Wheels/Tires Questions
1). I have a Model 1.0 cart. Can I get the solid tires that are on the 2.0 or 3.0 cart to replace my air filled tires?
You can order a solid wheel kit to replace your air filled tires on our website in the parts section. (www.clicgearusa.com).
2). I have seen white wheels on the white Model 3.0 cart. Are white wheels available on any other color cart?
They are not available as a stock wheel on any other color of cart, but we do offer a white wheel kit on our website in the parts section (www.clicgearusa.com).
3). What type of bearings does Clicgear use?
Each wheel has two double sealed ball bearings. This is unique to most pushcarts in that they are press fit into the rim. This prevents damaged bearings due to poor initial alignment and eliminates the tendency of the wheels to start to wobble over time.
4). Why does Clicgear use plastic wheels instead of aluminum spoke wheels?
The Clicgear wheels are made from fiber reinforced plastic, which is the best most lightweight material available. They are designed with the opposed 3 x 3 spoke design that makes them mould balanced. What this means is that they are much stronger and run true right from the moment they come out of the
mould.
Tubing Questions
1). What material is the tubing made from?
All tubing on the Clicgear Cart is made from aircraft aluminum. This means the cart offers the most lightweight and durable aluminum available.
2). What colors are available in the Clicgear Cart?
Clicgear offers “stock” colors, and “limited edition” colors. The stock colors are typically available year around, while the limited edition colors are inventoried on a much more limited basis. The stock colors are black, silver, blue, red and orange. The limited edition colors are white, kiwi and pink. Check our website to see the latest limited edition colors offered.
Colors are applied to the tubing using an electronic process called Powder Coating. This means that your cart will resist scuffing and scratching for years to come.
3). How do I order replacement tubing if something does break?
Visit www.clicgearusa.com to order replacement tubing. If you don’t see the piece you need, please give us a call to order (888)-742-2542.
Miscellaneous Questions
1). What is the weight of the Clicgear Cart?
The cart weighs about 18 lbs. There are other carts available that are lighter in weight, but pay particular close attention to the size of the tubing used in these carts. Clicgear uses over-sized aircraft grade aluminum tubing. Because it’s over-sized, it weighs slightly more. We feel this is an advantage because it means you are getting a lightweight cart that will last longer and be more stable and durable. Don’t be fooled by carts that are too light.
2). How should I clean my Clicgear Cart?
We recommend that you use a damp cloth instead of a hose or pressure washer. It is possible to fill the frame tubing with water or to damage the wheel bearings with too much water.
3). How do I adjust the alignment on my cart?
Alignment Video
4) Does Clicgear sell their replacement parts at their retail outlets?
Most retail outlets do not stock our replacement parts. They can order them for you, but we recommend you order them on our website (www.clicgearusa.com) or call us at (888) 742-2542.
5) My bag support looks like it is bent, is that possible?
The bag support is a unique shape and looks off-center. It is designed this way to accommodate many different sizes and styles of golf bags as well as to allow the cart to fold the way it does.
6) What is the difference between the 2.0 & 3.0 carts?
One of the primary differences between the 2.0 and 3.0 has to do with the storage capacity. The console on the 3.0 has nearly twice the capacity of the 2.0 cart console. Additionally, the 3.0 Model has a mesh cargo net to store items for quick access. The beverage holder on the 3.0 attaches to the outside of the cart frame, allowing storage of a larger drink bottle, and swivels to help prevent spilling. The opening/closing sequence is made easier on the 3.0 Model through the use of ergonomic levers and an easy to push wheel lock button. The brake on the 3.0 has been changed to a simple on/off lever located directly below the umbrella mount. Both cart models fold and unfold in the same way and both models come outfitted with an umbrella holder and cup holder. Both models weigh about 18 pounds.
