Model 3.5 - 4.5 Brake Cable & Sheath

Cable Sheath was not available only the cable.

I only ordered a cable since the cable and sheath are out of stock. I could not get the old cable out of the old sheath, so my cart is out of commission until your cable with a sheath are in stock. How long will that be?

Better detailed installation instructions would have made the installation much easier.

I bought the cable to repair a friend's brake cable which had broken. It was a very easy repair to pull the old cable out of the sheath and put in the new one.

I'm very pleased. It arrived in a couple of days, I expected it to be at least a week. It was easy to assemble and I can't believe how smooth it is to apply the brake now. I guess the old cable was in bad shape and I just didn't realize. I bought my 3.5+ in 2017 and this is the first maintenance/repair I've had to do. I use it twice a week from March to November. I'm hoping to get another 9 years out of it. Thanks

I had the head of the cable break off my 3.5 model. This was the perfect replacement. Fit right into the existing sheath and I can brake again :)

Easy install and works great

Direct cable replacement after the original cylindrical cable head failed. Exact length made it easier than repurposing mountain bike cable. Working brake in 5 minutes

Everything works fine but I wish I had known all I needed was the cable and not the sheath.

We were able to successfully fix a broken brake cable with this replacement part, extending the life of our push cart.

The parts are fine. You need a lot better instruction on how to install them The video is hard to follow and skips some key steps. He mentions a PDF but I can't find it. This will be my third time trying to replace the brake cable. It shouldn't be this hard!

Need the addtional piece that holds the end to the brake. the old cable broke off at the brake. Need the metal larger piece to hold it all in place.

Important to have a good brake on your cart.

The cable and sheath arrived with no installation instructions and no end cap for the cable. Infound a youtube video and was able to install the cable but cannot get the adjustment to work in both brake mode and freewheel mode. Horrible brake design and the plastic brake parts have too much play to allow proer adjustment. Better to buy a new cart from a different manufacturer and save yourself a lot of grief.

It's a cable. I can't fault them for me overpaying when i thought it was a specialty cable. It's about 60" for the sheath and 65" for the cable. The brake cable thickness is a 1.5mm-2mm max size brake cable. It doesn't come with the cable cap. They want $2 for one. Go to a local bike shop and ask them nicely, and they'll probably give you 1 for free. Or pay $5 on a website and get a pack of 50. You can find the cable for cheaper elsewhere and most likely in a kit, so do some searching. My own fault for overpaying. Don't do the same thing. Otherwise, nothing was wrong with the shipping nor the product itself. Just that it's nothing special and overpriced for what it is and comes with

Shipped on June 11 and it is June 30 and it has still not arrived.

My brake cable snapped!
Right at the handle my brake cable snapped! I’ve been without proper stopping power for months since buying a new cable for my 4.0 model.I’ve not seen proper tutorial vids on YouTube or other outlining the installation of the new brake cable.I’m sure I might be able to figure it out.If only I had the courage to take some time from golfing to fix my brake line.I think I’ll just park my cart at odd angles until then….

I was disappointed when I removed the cable ready for the new one and the only thing I got was the cable and not the sheath.I reinstalled the old sheath fished the cable through with no problem but was not expecting the extra work.

Very poor experience due to no instructions and very poor video on installation/replacement. Now on 3rd cable and brake still does not work.

very poor. The brake cable is fine but with no instructions and mediocre to poor instructional video have already ruined two cables and now on my 3rd. Not a great experience.

I guess the product is ok, we’ll see how long it lasts.

The “Simple” video is kind of confusing. It is made for both the 3.0 and the 3.5 model cart. Multiple times the video would refer to something that seemed odd to me and spurred me to call Customer Service. The service agent would say, “Oh, that’s not for your model.” The sum of my experience was I had to order another cable, which I installed using my intuition, ignoring the video, and it was easy.
