After going through multiple handle pad replacements on our 4.0, we decided to upgrade to the 4.5.
This has felt like a downgrade. The console has trouble latching. The handles ripped after just a couple uses. The tires are already bald and have holes in them. A much softer material was used than our previous carts, which still have traction, have played dozens more rounds, and were purchased in 2022.
The “alignment” on this cart is also off, and the cart constantly pulls left. As we steer it back to where it needs to be, it dislodges the main console, which suddenly drops.
We purchased this in April 2026. It’s now July and we regret this purchase so much.
A pro of this is the water bottle holder. The rest of it is just lower quality materials.

Great cart. Bought the 4.5. Love the straps. Hate the bottle holder. It hangs at an angle when any size bottle is in it. Pretty janky for the price. Interested in a fix.

Using the Clicgear 4.5 is golfing in luxury. I'm normally the kind to carry my bag, but after using this, I'm not going back. I was able to easily walk around the golf course, keep all the essential items within reach, and even used the umbrella holder to keep the sun off of me while golfing at a course with little shade. I don't feel like I need a golf cart anymore to have a "premium" experience on the course, the 4.5 does everything I need and more, and it folds up and stows in my car incredibly easily. Great experience and great product!

I purchased the Navy model directly from the website as my first push cart. I chose this over the Bag Boy Nitron because I loved the console design, particularly the magnetic closure and the glove Velcro. Having taken it on the course, I can confirm those features are incredibly useful.

However, I’m rating this 3 stars due to what feels like a deliberate design flaw. I had to buy the extended strap ahead of time, and I definitely needed it. Unlike an Apple Watch, which includes two strap sizes to ensure a fit, this cart forces you to pay extra for a functional strap.

Additionally, the bag sits very low—almost scraping the tire. This has been a known issue in previous versions, yet it remains unaddressed. It feels like the company is intentionally leaving these "flaws" in place to upsell accessories. While the cart performs well, I find this business practice unethical and predatory.

Love the cart, had a 3.0 previouslyand enjoyed also. Couple of suggestions. 1. Out of box, water bottle holder is attached at bottom near front tire, had to relocate, another friend that ordered had same issue. May be issue at assembly line. 2. Consider adding some rubber or other insert to brackets for water bottle or attachments to metal bars. The brackets tend to slip on metal when weight of bottle in holder. I cut finger from latex glove and put inside brackets to resolve the issue.

Cart is great in most respects. Unfortunately, I had to waste my time and a bit more money to buy a clip on “booster” that was needed to lift the base of my bag off the front wheel. That design flaw is so disappointing as to seem deliberate. Please address this and consider refunding me the purchase cost for that part. Otherwise, I think your cart is excellent.

I love my new 4.5. Ask when I had a problem with the handle rubber, Shawn quickly relaced my cart. This is a great cart and backed by great service.

For context, I have owned a Model 3.0 since 2009. Over the years it has been a model example of durability, any repairs have been minimal and replaceable (brake line, cart straps, main console). Finally, a month ago the push handle snapped and it was time for a replacement/upgrade.

Same:
- Durable frame
- Compact fold down size
- Easy accessory attachments (umberella holder, shoe brush, ball holder, etc.)
- Solid hand brake
- Easy to maneuver and steer
- Console for ball/tee/misc storage convenient

Pros:
- Magnetic and Velcro pads - Convenient for rangefinder/magnetic towel and glove
- Phone holder - Easy to mount and holds securely
- Bungee drink holder - Easy to adjust and holds variety of drink sizes
- Zippered storage pouch - Spacious and convenient to access

Cons:
- Large golf bags (even my Vessel cart bag) rubs on front wheel despite trying different adjustment techniques, will need booster clip
- Top silicon strap too small for larger golf bags, will need extended silicon strap or go back to bungee straps
- Mesh basket significantly smaller
- New console design has a very flimsy secure latch
- New console bungee straps for pencil/scorecard are intrusive to inner console storage
- Folding down process more difficult due to silicon straps, tougher to snap closed

Overall, I bought another Clicgear because of my long-term experience with my prior model, some of the improvements are convenient while others were well intended but lacks in execution.

This is my 2nd Clicgear push cart I’ve owned. The new 4.5 is great with the extras that have been added (pouch under handle & larger cup holder & phone holder). Easy to unfold. However, I am not a big fan of the rubber straps that hold your bag for 2 reasons. 1 - I use a smaller bag so the bottom strap is still a little loose when wrapping around the bottom of my bag. 2 - it is more difficult to close the brackets when folding because of the rubber straps. I preferred the bungee straps better. Other than that, this is a great push cart and would highly recommend it

Very robust cart, and easy to use. Our family has been through a handful of push carts, but Clicgear is the brand we continue to return to. Thank you!

ClicGear continues to be the gold standard for push carts. However, I did not like the apparent money grab they did by making a new umbrella holder internal thread so adjustable umbrella holders from old ClicGear carts do not work with this 4.5 cart.

So unhappy with this cart. Initially had two bolts and a clasp come loose and fall off on the course. One drill hole was completely stripped out so I was told just to glue it back. After getting replacement parts, bag is now rubbing on the front wheel. It also has a lot of give when going up and over bumps on the course. New cup/bottle holder will not stay in place either, always tilting bottle.

I know Clicgear sells a bump for the front brace, however it is sold out right now. This means that many people are having this issue. So now, while that part is on back order, my high dollar cart is completely useless. Wish I could get my money back.

This cart is not as useful as the 4.0. Not very ergonomically friendly in regards to the small compartment with a fragile lid, the small pockets can’t hold many things, like a beverage. There’s a symbol for a magnet but there isn’t one, the rubber straps to hold your golf bag are too short.

Purchased this push cart for me teenage daughter who plays High School golf. She loves everything about it. Has a place for all her things. Perfect purchase.

I replaced an old clickgear cart even though that old cart was performing well. I just felt an upgrade was appropriate after maybe 10 years with the old cart (I liked for a model number on the old cart but did not find one). The new cart is not as well engineered or produced. I spent about 45 minutes aligning the front wheel since the cart pulled strongly to the left— very frustrating on the course to continually correct steering. Aside from that, folding the cart after use is a pain. The clip never seems to align allowing it to click closed. The old cart still folds and click-locks beautifully. Then, there are too many other gadgets on the cart that just seem to complicate the principle purpose of carrying my clubs, balls and a water bottle. Sorry, but I’m disappointed.
Sincerely,
Rick Garagliano

Forget a new driver—if you want to improve your experience on the course, get a Clicgear. It turns your golf bag into a rolling command center, keeping everything you need within easy reach.

I play mostly hilly courses, and I’ve been incredibly impressed with its stability on uneven terrain, how easily it pushes up steep cart paths, and how rock-solid the brake is.

Opening and closing it has a slight learning curve, but after a few rounds it becomes second nature.

Honestly, my only complaint is that the umbrella holder doesn’t have an adjustable angle, so on downhill slopes the umbrella can block your view. That’s a minor issue, though, and there are aftermarket solutions available.

Overall, this thing is an absolute tank, and I’d buy it again without hesitation.

I upgraded from my 3.0 Clicgear to the 4.5. It’s taking some time getting used to to the silicone bag holder straps vs the bungee style on my old 3.0. They do hold better but are awkward and seem to get in the way when folding the cart. Also the upper strap could be about 2-4 inches longer to accommodate the c130 cart bags. The net bag up by the handle is too small to be of any use. Barely can get my hand in to get anything. I do like the magnet on the side for my range finder and the phone holder is nice. The cart tracks very nice and is very sturdy. It may be me, but it does seem heavier.

I had the 3.5 and now the 4.5 and it does have a lot of improvements. It took me a little while to figure out everything that’s new on it, and I will admit that the latch for the upper storage area is a little finicky, so I am strapping it in a little bit more tightly with my own band.. I’m hopeful that the break on this one will last much longer than it did on the prior model but overall it looks great. It operates smoothly and I’m happy with it.
